How much does it cost to register a domain?

On the Domain Registration Terms page, you can see how much each domain extension costs.

Some registrars only give you a discount if you register a domain at once or for several years ahead of time. GreggHost, on the other hand, does not have any bulk domain registration requirements. As a result, even if you only register a domain for a year, you will not pay more than the listed price.

When you sign up for an annual Shared Starter, Shared Unlimited, or any other annual DreamPress plan, you’ll get a free credit to use toward qualifying TLDs for the first year of hosting. For a list of domains that this pertains to, see the following article:

When do I have to pay for a domain name?
If the cost of renewing a registration rises after you receive a renewal notice, GreggHost will honor the pricing indicated in the notice.

All domain registration transactions demand prompt payment. Manual renewals necessitate timely payment as well. Payment is automatically paid to your AutoPay card on file 31 days before domain expiration for domain registrations set to autorenew.

What is the best way to pay for register a domain?
Renewals and new domain registrations can only be paid for with a major credit card or with an account credit balance.

However, you can prepay your account with Paypal or a check submitted ahead of time, leaving the account with a credit balance.

Can domain registrations be refunded?

In most cases, registration fees are non-refundable. However, within 5 days of the registration date, some TLDs may be reimbursed. To see if the domain registration is eligible for a refund, please submit a support ticket.

Will I receive a notification when my payment is due?

Yes. GreggHost notifies you via the email address you provided when you created your account. The notices will only be sent to the primary account email address, so if you have created privileged users on your GreggHost account, they will not receive any notices, even if they have billing access.

Can I sell my domain name?

Your domain is your property, thus you can sell it to whomever you choose. Transferring ownership is as simple as transferring the registration to the buyer’s registrar once you’ve found a buyer for your domain. Are there any bulk discounts if I purchase multiple domains?
