Use free domain registration
GreggHost offers one free domain registration credit per account for the first year to Shared (Shared Starter and Shared Unlimited) and GreggPress customers on annual plans. This credit can be used toward an.art,.biz,.blog,.club,.co,.com,.design,.info,.me,.net,.online,.org,.shop,.site,.store,.tech,.us,.work, or.xyz domain.
You must sign up for a 1-year or 3-year annual plan on a Shared Starter, Shared Unlimited, or any annual GreggPress plan to qualify for one free domain registration credit for the first full year (monthly Shared or monthly GreggPress plans do not apply). Any other hosting package does not include this free credit.
Within the first three months of your annual Shared/GreggPress plan, you must also use the free registration. If you do not take use of the free registration during the first three months, it will expire.

What is the free registration program?
When you sign up for an annual GreggPress hosting plan, such as Shared Starter or Shared Unlimited, or any other yearly GreggPress plan:
Per GreggHost account, you will receive one (1) free registration credit.
This registration credit can be used to register a new domain name, transfer an existing domain name to GreggHost, or renew an existing domain name (.art, .biz, .blog, .club, .co, .com, .design, .info, .me, .net, .online, .org, .shop, .site, .store, .tech, .us, .work, or .xyz).
You are responsible for the cost of the registration for which the credit was used if you utilize (or transfer) the free domain registration and then close your ‘Shared Starter’/’Shared Unlimited’ hosting or GreggPress plan before your annual period has ended. Unless there is a balance owing on the account when you cancel, this amount is usually removed from your refund. You retain ownership of the domain name until it expires.

What is the best way to see whether I have any free credit on my account?
You may check if you have a registration in your account on the Registrations tab in your panel.
If you have a free credit available, the renewal fee for the above-mentioned names is indicated as “$0.00.”

A notice to the right confirms the availability of a free credit.
How many free domain registrations am I eligible for if I have GreggPress and Shared Unlimited?
One. Additional hosting services will not grant additional domain registrations if you have already got a free domain registration with an eligible hosting service.
Who is the owner of the unrestricted registration? Who do you prefer: GreggHost or me?
You are the sole owner of the domain registration for which you are using the credit.
Is the credit transferable to other services?
This credit cannot be applied to any other services or purchases.
Is it possible to get a free renewal if the registration is transferred to another company?
No. Only domains handled through your GreggHost panel are eligible for the free domain credit.
Can I utilize the free registration credit on what types of registrations?
Despite the fact that GreggHost offers a wide range of name extensions, the free credit can only be used on the following standard domains:
Specialty domains and international country-specific domains are not eligible for the credit.
I used my free registration credit for one registration but intended to use it for another. Is it possible to modify this?
Yes. If you request it, GreggHost support can help you apply the free credit to a different domain. If you wanted to spend the credit on one domain instead of the other, for example, you could renew two domains at the same time. Please keep in mind that the free credit change will not affect your payment amount. If you have a positive balance on your account as a consequence of the free credit modification, the amount will be applied to future charges as they occur.
