Using the website file manager in the panel

Using the website file manager in the panel

Overview

The GreggHost control panel includes a file manager that you can use to upload and manage your website’s files. The file manager in the panel is a faster and easier alternative to a fully functional FTP client like Filezilla, and it can handle the majority of your site’s demands.

This tutorial will show you how to use this file manager and all of its features.

The file manager in the panel does not allow you to access your logs.

Using SFTP to view your access and error logs
To access your logs, you’ll need a fully functional FTP client like Filezilla or Cyberduck.

Logging into your server using the file manager
To log in to your site, it must be fully hosted.

Go to the Manage Websites section.
