Overview

DreamHost provides two cloud services that can be found in the Cloud Services panel:

DreamObjects is a low-cost cloud storage service that you may use to store backups, host static data for your websites, or develop the next great thing. DreamObjects can be accessed using your panel’s built-in interface, through conventional APIs, or through a growing library of apps. It works with Amazon’s S3 API as well.

DreamCompute
DreamCompute is a scalable cloud computing service that can handle everything from:

Applications for the web and mobile devices
Websites for digital media and eCommerce
Analysis of large amounts of data
Environments for testing and development
The DreamCompute dashboard, which is based on Openstack’s Horizon, may be used to manage all instances. To get started with DreamCompute, go to the DreamCompute page in your panel.
