How ‘Auto-Renew Only’ domains are charged and billed

\
‘Auto-Renew Only’ domains are what they sound like.
Some country-code and specialty top-level domains (TLDs) do not renew in the same manner that.COM and other generic TLDs do. ‘Auto-Renew Only’ domains are what they’re called.

The registry has designated these domains as special domains. They don’t have a “Add Years” button on the Registrations page, and they can’t be renewed by placing a renewal order manually.

GreggHost’s list of ‘Auto-Renew Only’ domains (TLDs).
‘Auto-Renew Only’ domains (TLDs) are listed below. Unless the registrant chooses to stop renewing these domain names, GreggHost strongly advises that the auto-renew setting on these domain names be left enabled:

You cannot change the status of ‘auto-renew’ in the panel within the 31-day period between when it is charged and billed, expires. Because you’ve already paid for the renewal, this is a safeguard that assures the domain will renew. When the charge is made, you will receive an email receipt with all of these details.

Are domain registration renewals refundable?

No. Your payment card will be charged and the domain will be renewed for another year after it is auto-renewed or manually renewed.

At this point, the domain registry adjusts its records to reflect that you are the owner for another year. A refund is not feasible because there is no method to reverse the renewal from the registrar.
