Windows 8 & 10

and Windows 10 are two different operating systems.
Hold down the R key while you click the Windows logo.
The run box is visible.
Type cmd into the run box and press the Enter key.
Enter the following command in the pop-up command prompt:
Ipconfig /flushdns C:Usersusername>
The command completes and the prompt is returned.
To close the window, type exit followed by the ‘Enter’ key.
When departing the Windows command prompt, you may encounter a pop-up box stating that Windows “…cannot finish the program because it may still be operating…” — clicking the End Now button to exit is totally safe (and essential).

Then, in the search bar (where it reads “search for programs and files”), type “cmd.”
Enter the following command in the pop-up command prompt:
Ipconfig /flushdns C:Usersusername>
Repeat the operation twice more by pressing the ‘Enter’ key.
To close the window, type exit followed by the ‘Enter’ key.
